Patience

Ok I am going to go insane. We have gotten lots of updated pictures and video of Disha. It has been a true blessing. With that comes excitement and the anticipation of going to get our precious daughter. Tonight I received news that some people have waited 10 months to get their court written/verbal guardianships from their NOC. We have only waited 4 months and I thought we might be close. The fact that I may have to wait lots longer is a blow that I am struggling to deal with. The verse that comes to mind is Roman 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."  God knows best and HE has a plan.

    :( This waiting is SO difficult. I am sorry that you received news like that.

    All of Romans 8 is my absolute FAVORITE. And I agree, I especially love 8:28. It's good to know that even horrible circumstances, He can redeem.

    Another thing that has helped me is this one blog post by this woman who had a really difficult adoption. For some reason, seeing the hard time she had...but that it all ended up good, gives me such hope. :)

    Oh, I am so sorry that you had such difficult news. Praying that you get your written guardianship MUCH sooner than 10 months.

    We are waiting as well. We are waiting on CARA and are not actually sure they will issue our NOC. We are praying hard right now. Our beauty is 9 and really needs a family.
