Our Baby is Coming to America!!

Well... it has been a while. I just want to let you know that we have been doing a bit of celebrating up in the Pierce household...why??? We received news on March 15 at 12pm that the orphanage had received Disha Lucy's passport. I had often wondered what I would be doing when I received the news. You may not understand that a passport is a huge deal because that means we can book our travel to go pick up our sweet Indian princess. Anyways I was sitting at my desk at work and checked my personal email and there it was!!! I think I hyperventilated briefly. I had to step away and go call Mike. My stomach was twirling and my head was swimming. It was pretty unreal. I am anxious, happy, excited, and overwhelmed. It's like you wait and wait and then once it happens it's like lightening. Mike, on the other hand, seems like he can now relax. Men and women are really different.  So we just booked our travel... leaving April 1st. Meet sweet Disha Lucy!!!

  3. Well, I am late to the party and I am guessing if you left April 1, you may already be home! God is good and we are praying for a great adjustment period!!!

    Each of us are Special

    Each of us different,

    No one is the same

Each of are us are unique in our own way,

Those of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.

Those who of us who have challenges, we smile through our day.

It doesn't matter what others say

    we are special anyway.
